The long-term target program "Nanotechnology development in the Republic of Tatarstan during 2013 – 2016 years" was adopted on April 9, 2013 by the enactment of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The aim of the program is to develop a system of integrated development of nanotechnology in Republic of Tatarstan on the existing potential of the region.
The key areas of implementation:
legislative support for improvement of nanotechnology development in Tatarstan and the organisation of a comprehensive system of ways to support regional projects in the field of nanotechnology;
infrastructure support of nanotechnology development in the Republic of Tatarstan;
improving the efficiency of potential and research activities through the promotion of nanotechnology projects, adopting the "Lift for Iinnovations" mechanism in Tatarstan;
creation of new industries in the field of nanotechnology, including the processes of attracting large investment projects to Tatarstan;
boosting the demand for innovation, including nanotechnology production in the real sector of the economy of Tatarstan;
creation of a system of advanced training and retraining for nanotechnology enterprises of Tatarstan.
